Our longcase movements are a made to the highest standards using high quality , wear resitant, carbon steels and brass alloys.. They are made in the traditional way of the late 1700's, using solid wheel blanks and machined pinions finished by hand and individually depthed on assembly to guarantee a life-time of service.

The movement is driven by weights on gut and runs for 8 days between winding. A recoil escapement is used with a conventional seconds pendulum to provide accuracies within seconds per week without any quartz tecnology! Each movement is made, assembled and exhaustively tested by hand before fitting to the seatboard and mounting in the case.
