.	Our basic case is from solid English oak (reclaimed from age seasoned and naturally dried timbers) with a solid pine backboard. The hood, door and mouldings are profiled by hand from matching woods. All joints use natural glues and are pinned and jointed in the traditional style. We do not use any composite or manmade materials in the construction of our cases.
After assembly, the cases are stained by hand to preference then waxed using traditional beeswax and turpentine polish. A little care and polishing will keep the case in prime condition for a lifetime.
